A Place We Have Lived -2019 to 2021-

What did we enjoy about this place?

Dad

I liked that we were living in a house amongst the locals. It was different than living in Mongolia, because there we were living with just Americans, so we didnt get to interact as much. I liked the beaches and the Adams Resort we stayed at. It was awesome because our bungalow was right next to the beach and the huge swimming pool area.

I absolutely loved Cyprus for the culture and the food. My favorite type of food is Mediterranean and there was an abundance of this food there. I loved that I was able to make local friends there that I go back and visit frequently. They taught me to cook some local dishes like Dolmas, which are a mixture of rice, lemon, and sometimes meat that is rolled into grape leaves and then steamed. I loved the beaches and just breathing in the fresh ocean air.

I liked going to the Pizza Hut that was near our house. I liked it because every Sunday my family and I would walk there and the waiters knew us and our order by heart. I liked living in the house we had because I had my own room. I liked the beaches because of the very clear blue water. I also liked going to village where my mom's friend lived and do cherry picking.

I liked our house and especially my bedroom because I had a loft that was attached to my room. We stored all our games and toys up there. It was nice to just sit by myself or with my brothers enjoy the space. I liked the beaches because they were very picturesque. I loved the beaches in Paphos because the boardwalk was so nice and there weren't many people there. I really liked the chicken and how they cooked it, it was called Souvlaki.

I liked that we lived next to the Greek Orthodox Church called Ayia Sofia. It was big and the church bells would ring in the morning and in the evening. It was a comforting feeling to hear the bells everyday. I loved the sunsets because they had beautiful colors and felt so peaceful. I enjoyed that we could sit outside as a family in our yard and watch the sunset.
