Places We Have Visited -April/May 2022-
I loved getting to visit the Eiffel Tower, especially since it was night time and it was all lit up with lights. I loved the grocery store because it had food that we liked and could eat. Some countries don't always have the food that we prefer, so it was a nice change to have an abundance of everything we liked. I loved the sites and getting to see the Joan of Arc sites and see the place where she was burned at the stake. I liked seeing the Joan of Arc church, the design was really unique. I liked visiting Giverny where we could see Claude Monet's house and the village that the house was located in.
I really loved the visit to France. I loved being in Paris and walking the streets and taking the public transportation. My friend lived in Paris, so one night I got to go and have a girl's night out where we went to place and ate some DimSum. I loved being able to see all the sights! The Eiffel Tower met up to my expectation and even exceeded it with us being able to go to the top at night and see the whole city! I loved going to Louvre. I have always wanted to go and it was AWESOME. I loved all the artifacts and getting the see the Venus de Milo. When I was a child, my parents had a small Venus de Milo statue in our living room. It was my job to dust every Saturday morning and I used to think about being able to see the real statue. It was awesome to actually have that happen. I liked all the Egyptian artifacts as I really loved learning about Egypt in school. I LOVED the trip to Giverny and to see Claude Monet's house. I love art and getting to see the place that was the inspiration for a famous artist was inspiring. I really loved doing the tour of Joan of Arc sights. I had just finished reading the Joan of Arc book by Marc Twain, so it was awesome to have the book come to life as we visited these places.
I liked that we got to go to Claude Monet's place because the garden was beautiful and there were so many flowers. I liked the cured ham and butter sandwich that we at in Giverny. I also really enjoyed all of the Joan of Arc sites. It was an interesting history on brutal a church could be. I really loved EuroDisney and the Indiana Jones ride was my favorite. I liked our Disney Cars hotel room that we stayed at while at EuroDisney.
I enjoyed France, but just like Greece being outside of the main city makes a very big difference in experience. The tour me and my family went on where we went to all the sites where Joan of Arc was, was awesome because went to so many places with so much history. My favorite part was going to all the gothic cathedrals as it just amazes me that people could create those bulidings with so much detail.
I loved the croissants and freshly baked bread because they tasted better than anywhere in the world that I have eaten these before. I also liked that we were staying in a place that across the street were a few bakeries we could choose from. I liked going to the Eiffel Tower because it was cool to go to the very top and see the city from all the way up there. It was also funny to watch all the illegal sellers trying to sell their trinkets when the police came and they all ran away. I liked going to EuroDisney and getting to ride the Toy Story ride.
