A Place We Have Visted -April 2019-

What did we enjoy about this place?

Dad

I loved riding the subway in Japan because of the experience of how the locals navigated them like it was super easy. It was also amazing how many people could be squished into a subway and they even had people pushing people in so the doors could close. We got to experience locals very upclose and personal. I liked being able to visit the Sky Tower, especially since it was at night and you could see all the city lights below.

I liked visiting Japan and seeing how organized and clean every place was. I liked that the subway did not smell like urine, something that is common in DC and New York subways. I liked that majority of the locals were thin and looked healthy. I liked being able to walk up and down the MANY flights of stairs for the subway. It made me feel like a local. I liked going to the hedgehog cafe and seeing the cute little hedgehogs and watching them eat. I liked going to the Meiji Shrine and feeling the peace of the quiet solitude. I absolutely LOVED going to Disney Sea and being able to experience such an AMAZING creation. It was designed and built in three years. Every building in the park is functional and not just plywood and paint, but REAL buildings that serve a purpose. The entrance of the park with the look of a Venetian Sea scape with houses, are actually the Disney Hotel. As you walk into the park, if peoples windows are open you could see them watching TV in their underwear. It was an awesome experience, which is what this Disney was meant to be - an experiential event for the local Japanese. They like to dress up and go to "events" so this is why the Disney Sea doesn't contain rides that can dirty you, because most locals come dressed up with fancy clothes.

I really liked the hedgehog cafe because they were so cute and I got to hold them. I also liked Disney Sea. It was a very different Disney park, than any of the other Disney parks we had gone to. I liked visiting the Meiji Shrine because it was interesting to learn about how they praise Gods in other countries.

Japan was a very cool place visit, but I wished me and my family did more there. Though the things we did do and see there were very nice for example a hedgehog cafe. The hedgehogs there were super cute and we could also get drinks like coffee or lemonade while playing with the hedgehogs. After that we went to the Meiji shrine which was probably my favorite part of the trip because the shrine was so taken care of to where it looked like it was brand new.

I liked getting to go to the hedgehog cafe and holding a hedgehog. I liked being able to sit in a place where we could get hold and feed them as well as drink tea. I liked being able to use the bidet because it felt so nice to have such a clean bum. I liked going to the Meiji Shrine because it was so quiet eventhough it was in the center of the city. I also LOVED that we could go to many bookstores and find anime books I had been wanting to get for a long time.
